Masterplan Consultancy and Viability Assessment
Bannon were initially instructed as part of a professional project team, tasked with advising DAA on the viability and design criteria for the creation of a world class business campus in Dublin Airport occupying a 20 acre site known as “The Horseshoe”.
As part of this role, continuous assessment of the viability of the masterplan in its various iterations was carried out, working closely with the project architect Henry J Lyons.
Phase 1 of the development of Dublin Airport Central encompassed the refurbishment of the existing HOB building (former Aer Lingus HQ) to form the cornerstone of Dublin Airport Central, creating a signature building for future phases.
Bannon as letting agents achieved a letting of the entire of One, Dublin Airport Central to ESB International. This letting represented the highest Suburban rent achieved in 2015 and validated our thesis of enticing an export-focused service company to move from its St. Stephen’s Green Head Office.
Bannon are currently appointed as Joint Leasing Agents on the Dublin Airport Central development of a further 400,000 sq.ft of office accommodation.
