Client Accountant – One Year Maternity Leave Contract
Reporting To:
Divisional Director (Finance), Property Management Department
Roles:
- Manage the various accounting systems, processes and procedures of the Property Management Department.
- Report any issues or concerns with clients to Directors immediately to ensure compliance with professional indemnity insurance obligations.
- Provide support to Finance Director and Financial Controller in day to day management of the team, team coaching and development, process improvement and other projects.
- Work within the Bannon culture of maintaining high standards throughout, whilst also respecting your work colleagues and providing assistance and cooperation as appropriate.
- To ensure that you operate in accordance with internal ISO 9001/ISO 14001 regulatory/legal requirements.
- To contribute to sustainability developments and initiatives internally within Bannon and with clients.
- Any other duties relevant to this role, as required.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect and communicate with the property management team as well as clients, suppliers and tenants.
- Ability to compile, analyse and interpret financial data.
- Strong Excel and IT skills.
- Well organized with attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving skills, independent and pro-active.
Qualifications:
- Experienced accounts person with commercial and operational acumen.
- Qualified or part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA is desirable but not essential.
- Property experience is desirable but not essential for the right candidate
