Rod is an Executive Director at Bannon where he heads up the Capital Markets Team.  He has over 25 years’ experience in the commercial property market with broad cross-sector experience in strategic disposal and acquisitions.

Rod has been involved in some of the most significant Capital Markets transactions in the commercial sector including the forward sale of Fitzwilliam 28 for €168m for ESB and one of the largest industrial buildings in Dublin. He played a strategic role in the acquisition and site assembly of the Windmill Lane development, acquiring sites and buildings to transform this area of the South Docks. Rod has been involved in the acquisition and sale of more shopping centres and retail parks than any other agent in the country. These include major schemes like the Ilac Centre, The Pavilions Shopping Centre and The Square Shopping Centre in Tallaght.

Rod additionally provides asset management advice to numerous institutions and private individuals and has particular expertise in office design development work. Rod is actively engaged with some of the most active property investors in Ireland, Europe and the UK regarding acquisition and disposal advice. Rod has previously been an external examiner for the TU Post-Graduate Property Economic course.
