James has over 29 years’ experience in the commercial property market and has been Director of Retail in Bannon for 17 years. James has a strong knowledge of the retail market across Ireland and has worked with a number of international and domestic clients.

James heads a team of five surveyors who collectively lease over 50 shopping centres & retail parks. These schemes range from regional shopping centres such as Swords Pavilions, Ilac Centre and The Square Shopping Centre to district and neighbourhood shopping centres nationwide. James is also responsible for leasing over 10 retail parks including The Retail Park Liffey Valley, Waterford Retail Park and Limerick One Retail Park.

James has extensive experience in acting for retailers seeking to enter the Irish market or expand their existing presence across the country.  James represents a number of retailers including Card Factory, Elvery’s and Pet Stop. James is an Assessor with the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI).
