Marshes Shopping Centre adds fashion retailer Next

Marshes Shopping Centre has enjoyed a standout year for new lettings, coinciding with a particularly special milestone as the centre celebrates its 20th anniversary. As part of this milestone year, Marshes has delivered an exciting mix of new retail and F&B brands, further strengthening its status as the North East’s leading shopping destination.
These additions reflect a leasing strategy, aimed at enhancing the overall customer experience while responding to evolving occupier demand. This progress would not have been possible without the continued support and instruction of our client, Lanthorn, Colleen Fox and Seán Dolan, whose commitment to the long-term success of the centre has been instrumental in delivering these outcomes.
We were pleased to be involved in securing a number of these transactions, most notably Next, which will shortly occupy over 11,000 sq. ft. The arrival of a retailer of this scale and profile represents a major endorsement of Marshes Shopping Centre Ltd and provides a premium uplift to its already strong fashion offering. Many thanks to Kevin Sweeney, who acted on behalf of Next.
Further successful lettings include Lovisa, Golden Discs, and Camile Thai, all of whom have committed to long-term leases, underlining their confidence in both the centre’s performance and the strength of the Dundalk market. Each of these brands has already opened and is trading successfully, with Next currently fitting out.
Thank you to Ronald Quinlan for featuring Marshes Shopping Centre in yesterday’s The Irish Times
