Retail Planning Strategy and Retail Provision Study, Waterford City Centre
Retail Planning Strategy Consultancy and a Study of the City’s current retail provision undertaken on behalf of Waterford City Council.
Bannon were appointed by Waterford City Council in 2013 to undertake a study reviewing the status of retail provision in the city at the time, with the goal of contributing to the Retail Planning Strategy for the Waterford City District. The study analysed the current retail provision in the city, using Bannon’s CCCE form of analysis.
In 2017 Bannon were appointed once again by WCC to provide an update to the 2013 study but with an additional focus on new retail development, given the improving economic conditions.
Bannon’s Consultancy Team provided updates to the study and identified key City Centre sites which could be developed to encourage the sustainable development of the City’s retail core.
