Fitzpatricks Shoes to open at the CHQ Building, Docklands
Dublin’s well known fashion footwear retailer, Fitzpatricks Shoes, is to open a new outlet at the chq building in Dublin’s Docklands. This development is a natural expansion of the company’s already successful outlets in Grafton Street, where it has been operating for over 70 years, and Dundrum Town Centre.
Fitzpatricks Shoes will occupy a 244 square metre unit and are due to start trading in early May.
The new shoe store will join recently confirmed new tenants – women’s fashion store, Kohl; shoe boutique, The Pink Room and men’s tailor, Louis Copeland, all set to open their doors in April.
The CHQ building is anchored by Meadows & Byrne and Environmental Furniture with other retailers including Nue Blue Eriu, Ciaran Sweeney, Henry Jermyn and Bunnies by the Bay. Also located in the chq building are Fran & Jane, Kevin Sharkey as well as cafes, Insomnia, Starbucks and House of Tea. The Ely wine bar has also been trading successfully at the CHQ building since June 2006.
The CHQ building is located in the heart of the IFSC and is just an eight minute walk from O’Connell Street. The building faces George’s Dock, the site of the new Abbey Theatre.
