William fry and Chartered Land announce new head office move
William Fry, one of Ireland’s top five law firms and leading commercial property company Chartered Land have announced that William Fry will relocate its headquarters to Chartered Land’s state-of-the-art office development at Grand Canal Square in Dublin’s south docklands.
William Fry will occupy 121,000 sq ft of space at 4, Grand Canal Square moving from Fitzwilton House, Dublin 2, as part of the law firm’s long-term strategic growth plan.
William Fry’s recently appointed Managing Partner, Myra Garrett, welcomed the finalisation of the deal and said that the new offices are on schedule to be ready by March 2010 and would afford the firm excellent modern space for staff and client facilities.

Grand Canal Square contains three office buildings, totalling 380,000 sq. ft. in addition to the 2000-seat Grand Canal Theatre. Each building has its own distinct identity with strong architectural features including striking glass facades and sculptured shapes. Chartered Land was recently awarded the title “Developer of the Year” by Property Week and remains committed to developing landmark schemes that redefine cities and towns and create innovative social, cultural and commercial environments.
