The area of assessing the Part V liability attaching to a particular grant of planning permission is a specialist field of expertise. Bannon is one of the few experienced companies in Ireland which specialises in the area.
Following a successful grant of planning permission the Local Authority will require a Part V submission from the developer setting out the development value and existing use value of the site.
Bannon has a niche specialism in undertaking this process which requires engagement with the Local Authority’s appointed Valuer.
In certain circumstances, where agreement cannot be reached by mutual consent, the matter can be referred to the Land Values Reference Committee for independent determination.
Our clients include some of the country’s largest and most well-known developers, Quintain, Castlethorn, Ballymore, Red Rock Developments, McGrath Group to name a few.
The delivery of major infrastructural projects invariably requires the acquiring authority to invoke powers of compulsory purchase.
The area of Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPO) is a complex specialism which requires in-depth knowledge of the procedures, legislation and the methods of assessing compensation.
We have secured considerable compensation sums on behalf of our clients through negotiation and also via references to Arbitration.
Bannon has represented claimants across a wide range of infrastructural projects to include motorway upgrades, Luas lines, Bus Connects upgrades, wayleaves for watermains and gas pipelines.
