Bannon was appointed joint selling agent for the Griffeen Centre in Lucan. The Griffeen Centre is a popular neighbourhood scheme that drives strong footfall with an excellent range of occupiers serving the local community.
The key skill was to convey the impact of the strong and growing catchment and the fundamental sustainability of the asset. The Bannon team carried out a catchment analysis which established the Griffeen Centre as a resilient asset embedded in a strong and growing Dublin suburban catchment. The busy neighbourhood centre has a focus on daily shopping uses that act as the focal point to the local community. To effectively promote the scheme throughout the market, a comprehensive package of marketing materials was created.
Following an extensive marketing campaign attracting interested from a range of different buyers, the neighbourhood scheme resulted in a successful sale that closed in Q4 2023 achieving a sale price of €7m to a private buyer.
