Winter Maintenance Contract
Property Management
A sub-team from the Bannon Property Management Team were appointed to oversee the tendering of the winter maintenance contract for the portfolio. The team agreed to split the portfolio into three distinct zones: Greater Dublin Area; South & South East and; Midlands, West & North West.
A Request for Tender (RFT) document was prepared as well as the shortlisting of suitable contractors along with a visit to contractors’ facilities.
The RTF was issued to 10 shortlisted contractors and a review and analysis of the 6 tenders received was carried out.
Finally, a selection and contract were prepared to the winning tenderers.
Across the PM portfolio we see c.100 million visitors annually and maintaining safe and easy access to these sites is a crucial part of our role.
Our PM team has seen significant benefits in procuring our Winter Maintenance services on a portfolio wide basis. Our retail clients can enjoy consistency of services as well as ensuring footfall doesn’t drop and visitor health and safety is managed with a proactive approach, which also helps us to curtail insurance claims across our portfolio.
