Case Study
Thurles Shopping Centre
Property Management
Thurles Shopping Centre is a Dunnes Stores anchored centre built in 2 phases (1996 & 2007), with a multi-storey car park. Bannon recommended that the energy consumption in the shopping Centre’s car park should be reviewed with the objective of identifying areas where improvements in efficiencies from an ESG and cost savings perspective.
Bannon engaged Evia to carry out a review of the energy consumption of the multi storey car park. After this review it was recommended that an upgrade of the lighting system and the installation of AMR devices within the property was required.
Evia, as Project Managers for the client, worked with the appointed contractors to deliver the required upgrades. The work was carried out during the peak trading months of November and December, without major curtailment of service to the centre’s tenants and customers. The project was completed on time and within the required budget. Bannon worked seamlessly with Evia throughout the project, ensuring that the objectives of the client were met and minimum disruption experienced.
