The Retail Park Liffey Valley
Leasing Agent
Bannon became leasing agents on Liffey Valley Retail Park in 2006. The Park is one of four main M50 Retail Parks and is located adjoining Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, an F80 Tesco and the biggest B&Q in Ireland. The Park extends to 16,250 Sqm and includes The Range, Curry’s, EZ Living, Halfords, Maxi Zoo and Sports Direct as some of its occupiers. The Park has 17 units, two of which are a McDonalds Drive thru and a Costa Coffee pod.
Bannon brought experience garnered from working on similar schemes and knowledge of retailer requirements to assist the owner’s team to develop a leasing strategy for the scheme. Bannon identified key target occupiers using the team’s market knowledge to identify gaps in the Dublin market and successfully directly targeted use categories that were gaps in the mix and the catchment the Park serves.
The Park has successfully traded and has had strong interest from retailers seeking to tap into the significant catchment that the scheme enjoys. Bannon consistently met the asset managers goals and guided the owners through the Celtic Tiger, the Global Financial Crises and Covid 19 and maintained a high level of occupancy through these turbulent times.
In more recent years Bannon have secured occupiers such as Costa, JYSK, Sports Direct, EZ Living and Party Delights further enhancing the broad spectrum of uses in the Park.
