HUGMIE
Nationwide Acquisition Agent
HUGMIE, a technology store with 16 locations throughout Ireland, appointed Bannon as its sole acquisition agent in 2022. In this role, Bannon is tasked with securing prime retail spaces to support the expansion of HUGMIE’s new toys and gadgets concept across the Republic of Ireland. Our responsibility is to advise and represent HUGMIE in negotiations, ensuring that the new units align with the brand’s target demographic and strategic catchment areas.
Bannon offers HUGMIE detailed strategic location advice using our proprietary data collation systems, which have been in operation since 2005. These systems allow Bannon to provide HUGMIE with insights on comparable deals, footfall numbers, spending patterns, and demographic catchment data across Ireland. HUGMIE’s requirements vary from small format kiosk stores to large inline units. Once ideal locations are identified, Bannon’s agency team negotiates with owners on HUGMIE’s behalf to secure the best possible terms for our client.
Since Bannon were appointed as HUGMIE’s sole acquisition agents, the HUGMIE store network has grown from 13 to 16 with a further 8 stores planned for 2024 and 2025. Bannon’s position as Ireland’s leading retail experts has enabled us to continue to provide best in class advice to ensure that the HUGMIE brand is strategically located and remains as one of the most prominent technology stores in Ireland.
