The Task
Gino’s Italian Ice Cream partnered with Bannon to expand their business across Ireland. The brand had begun to establish itself as the premier Gelato producer in Ireland and aimed to enhance this presence with nationwide store representation.
The Skills
Bannon collaborated with Gino’s to understand their key store and location criteria and develop an expansion strategy. Supported by research data on footfall and demographic analysis, we identified key target locations and presented these to our client for approval. Leveraging our nationwide experience and contacts, we commenced the store rollout and negotiated acquisitions across the country.
The Result
We successfully secured numerous new locations for Gino’s Italian Ice Cream, including stores on Grafton Street, Henry Street, in Dundrum Town Centre, Blanchardstown, Liffey Valley, Pavilions Swords, Crescent Shopping Centre, and various towns around the country. This expansion brought Gino’s portfolio to over 20 stores, making it the largest gelato retailer in Northern Europe.
