Case Study
Dungarvan Shopping Centre
Leasing Agent
Bannon was asked to provide development design advice in relation to the scheme which was constructed by Clancy Construction and opened for trade in 2004.
The scheme sits in the middle of Dungarvan, extends to 10,000 Sqm and comprises a total of 29 units and in anchored by a 4,700 Sqm Dunnes Stores.
Bannon was retained as sole leasing agents and were tasked with pre-letting the scheme off the back of doing a deal with Dunnes Stores to anchor the scheme in 4,000 Sqm of space.
Bannon have been leasing the scheme through successive owners for 20 years.
Working closely with our clients we delivered a mix that matched the catchment and its profile to the trading opportunity the centre offered. We developed a leasing strategy in conjunction with the owners that saw the scheme fully let on opening with a wide variety of new brands taking space in Dungarvan for the first time.
Over the years we have maintained a retailer mix that has attracted a consistent footfall to the scheme
Brands such as Lloyds, Eason, Carraig Donn and Ormonde Cinema trade successfully in the centre.
Bannon has guided the owners and asset managers through the Celtic Tiger, the Global Financial Crises and Covid-19 and we have consistently maintained a high level of occupancy through these turbulent times.
Bannon have consistently delivered on the objectives of subsequent owners and asset managers over the past 20 years.
