It features 15 units, and 1,000 surface level car park spaces Drogheda is the largest town in Ireland, boasting a population of 44,135 as per the 2022 national census. Our client, Targeted Investments Opportunities, purchased Drogheda Retail Park in 2016 and via their appointed Asset Manager, Sigma Retail Partners appointed Bannon as sole leasing agents to the scheme.
Bannon have had a long involvement with this retail park having been involved pre-development on advice to the DDF Partnership. Bannon leased the park to fully occupancy and have maintained an impressive occupancy rate during the global financial crisis, Covid 19 and the war in Ukraine.
We use our national and international expertise and connections to ensure that all retail park occupiers are aware of the strength and growing mix of household, outdoor, leisure and food & beverage occupiers in Drogheda Retail Park. The Park features a mix of original occupiers from its construction in 2005, along with strategic new entrants to the occupier mix, delivered by Bannon, which have diversified the customer offering and boosted overall park performance.
Examples of Bannon’s strategic lettings in Drogheda Retail Park include Danish furniture retailer Jysk who opened their second Irish store in Drogheda in 2019, and UK gym chain Snap Fitness who have occupied an 8,000 sq.ft facility in the park since 2023. More recently in 2024, EZ Living Interiors have agreed a 15 year lease on a 16,000 sq.ft unit in the park.
