Case Study
The Boathouse
Property Management
Our client advised that they were granted approval to upgrade the telecom equipment on the roof of their Dublin City Centre office building.
The client’s contractor was seeking guidance in respect to the methodology of the works. We received two options from the contractor:
- One was the use of 2 x cranes to transport materials to the roof.
- The second was to manually transport the material to the roof via the lift on site and the service hatch on the 6th
Our clients were keen to ensure as little disruption as possible to occupiers while the works were ongoing.
After careful consideration, we advised the contractor to use the cranes to transport materials to the roof. As standard practice, insurance, method statement, RAMS and an indemnity to the Owner for proposed works were received in advance.
We advised occupiers and security in advance of the works commencing. This included providing a full itinerary including timeline of works and contractor details. This project included weekend work to ensure minimal disruption to occupiers.
The project resulted in the successful completion of a telecom upgrade for the building with no disruption to any of the occupiers in the building.
